Birds of a Feather

Here is a little art journal page I did a la Dyan Reaveley. It was just a fun & funky one using acrylic paint & some black soot stain on the THoltz stamp-I like this effect for background stamps, it has a water color look to it. I painted in the olives (heehee) with glimmer mist. The stamps are Hero Arts. The only thing is I wish the birds were facing each other. I started working with tissue paper lately & I found that is a good way to be able to change your stamp direction! More on that when I finish what I am working on.

    I love the funky birds and the colors. I had to study it for awhile.Question- how did you get a page done during Thanksgiving week!!! It's been too
    busy. Can't wait for our next class. Good seeing you this weekend.
