As much as I love me some Tim-I think I may have Tag Weary Syndrome!!! A big part of that is I am taking way too long to make my tags & need to get other Christmas stuff done!!! Having said that I love the techniques today-I am a fan of clear embossing but haven't used it this way in awhile. I also have wanted to do the packing tape transfer in awhile. I did it 2x, figured out it doesn't work with an ink jet print out. My 2nd was successful but it didn't end up on the tag. I really wanted photos from our ornaments so I just printed them on paper & adhered them to the fragments with glossy accents. To see how Tim did his tag, properly, click here.
For my tag I used Tim's paper as the background & stamped with his pine branch in 2 colors & than clear embossed. I gave the tag a good spritz with forever green perfect pearls mist so there is a pretty green shimmer. I used eyelets & twine to hang my charms. I made a sad looking long pine cone (1st time) and added ornamental stuff. Some beads on a pin & a charm-done. So why did it take me almost all day??? I could probably duplicate it in 30 minutes! I may have to go buy a Christmas tree to hang them all on! 2 more days & than it is back to reality!!! Enjoy it while we can!
