Eileen Hull 2023 Chapter 1 Release!!!

Happy New Year Fans of Eileen Hull & Sizzix!! Welcome to January 2023 &  it is time for the most fabulous Chapter 1 Release. Always an exciting time for sure. This release is a great one & the teams have come up with some amazing inspiration for you. There is the usual fun starting with the blog hop & a Facebook Live today at noon ET. Due to life I can't be on the live today so I will be doing a Facebook live next week TBA. Below my projects is all the info for the diecuts & the giveaway. You can find all of Eileen's Chapter 1 Dies Here.

Here is my main project using the Frame Pocket Journal & paper by Blue Fern Studios. This paper line is perfect for journals. I used the 8x8 paper pad for the inside of the book & the 12x12 paper cut to size for the outside. I will have a full tutorial coming up.

Here is a sneak peak at the inside, showing the tag pocket (left side) that comes with the die. It creates a 3D pocket & can be cut out of sturdier material like mat board. The journal can be configured in many different ways so hold onto your hats!

Next up is the Library Pocket, ATC Card & Tabs which is a thinlet die. Ohhh I love pockets and these are great! They cut & scor so making them is super easy.

This is awesome for all your journal, scrapbook needs. I made these cards in a quick session just pulling out different papers, cutting them out & assembling.

This is one of those must have dies for sure!! Can't wait to put a mixed media spin on them!

Next up is another fav. The Tiled Alphanumeric. I have been begging Eileen for an alphabet for ages and am so excited for this one. It is conveniently one die so the entire alpha cuts out in a jiffy. I made an organizer from 6x8 pocket pages which makes finding a letter easy. I may need a few sets of these!

Last up is the 3D Embossing Folder Tablecloth. I made a paper piece that can be card front, tag or a pocket. That's all the shares for now, although I do have more which you will be seeing. So on with the Hop Info!!

Please join us for the Ch. 1 2023 Release Party on Tuesday, January 3 at 12:00 ET when I will be joined by team members sharing their projects. We will also have a blog hop that day so we hope you will hop along with the team and be inspired!

Introducing the Ch. 1 2023 Eileen Hull/Sizzix collection!

Let's start with the ScoreBoards Frame Pocket Journal- this is a Bigz Plus die so you will need a 9” cutting machine. The Journal measures 4 1/2” x 6 1/2” x 1 1/4” with an adjustable spine. What makes this die special are the additional pieces on the die, a pocket to hold ephemera, a frame and flap! These extra pieces may be used in many of my other journals or they can be used independently. The die may also be configured in a few different ways so watch the blog and Facebook live shows for ideas.

There are two Thinlits sets that coordinate with the Journal. You asked for a new alphabet- you got it- and I added numbers too! The Tile Alphanumeric is very versatile because you can use both the positive and negative shapes. Each letter is perforated which makes it easy to create and line up words.

The other Thinlits set is the Library Pocket, ATC Card and Tab die- a journal essential! Use the ATC card die to knock out a bunch of Artist Trading Card bases and add the library pocket to package it up to swap. The Tab die is perfect to add to the Journal pages or on the ATC.

The last item is a 3D embossing folder called Tablecloth which was inspired by a crocheted cotton piece from my Mom. This adds beautiful texture and dimension to card backgrounds, book pages or tags!

There will also be a giveaway so make sure to watch our live on Facebook and/or YouTube. Comment in the chat and tell us what you would create with these dies, then you will be eligible to win a Chapter 1 die/embossing folder!

Thanks everyone and Happy New Year!

December Roundup for Eileen Hull

Hello Eileen Hull Friends! Can you believe we are well into December?? I cannot keep up with the flow of time & am just realizing that need to jump on the HoHoHo of the season! First it is time for our Inspiration Teams yearly roundup of favorite projects.

Never an easy task to pick only 3, but that is the assignment. Here is my fancy photo with all 3 projects in it. Apparently this year I was really into color & also under developing my photos cause they all seem very light!

#1: Here we go in order of calendar release with the link included.. drum roll please. Gustov Klimt Box which was one of my Chapter 1 release projects. This was using Eileen's Book Box.

#2: The Four Seasons Journal which was the release for Eileen's Maker Forte stamps in February. This also became a class at my local store in which we made a booklet every month to go in it. Started with the Full Size Journal, adding in the Snail Mail die & stamps. This one was very satisfying to complete.

#3: The Travel Journal which is also on it's way to becoming a class in a bit of a revised fashion. Love all the mix media on this one. Also lots of Eileen's stamps and quite a few of the smaller dies. Yes I love making books!! Thanks for a great year of support from everyone. I hope you have a fantastic holiday season & get to spend lots of time with friends & family. Cheers!
