I had the privilege to be on Topflight Stamps 1st design team which ran July to Dec, 2017. I thought it would be appropriate to re-create my 1st project with them. Here is my new mini-art journal, designed for the hop using corrugated cardboard as a substrate.
I hope you join in the festivities, the links to all the blogs & supplies are at the end of my post. Remember to leave me a comment as I will be drawing one random winner who will get a $10 coupon to the Topflight Stamps shop. Now on to more shots of my project inspiration!
I followed my tutorial just changing up the colors and stamps. This is my original project back in July, 2017. Love this book & it sits on my window sill so I can add to it any time. You can find the tutorial for this book here.
Did you know that darkroom door now has stencils? I used the large version of this one called Polka Dots. With a foam dabber I stenciled paint on my background.
This stamp set is where my front quote came from and the word art was stamped in paint on my covers. The inside of my book was also stamped using the water jar.
I also used this set called Artist Brushes.Love the details on these stamps, plus the paint swatch looks totally real & is perfect especially when applied using paint!
Here is the back of my journal. I love that the words look like graffiti!
Inside front cover. This was stamped with Archival Ink & water colored lightly.
Inside back cover.
I made 3 signatures filled with white & black card stock, canvas, tags & Gel Press papers. Well that is it for today! I hope you enjoyed the walk through my project. Happy Birthday Topflight!
Supply List:
- Polka Dot Stencil
